Martin Peacock – Group Managing Director

Bio: Martin Co Founded  AMP Procurement Ltd in September 2016 – Procuring complex electrical solutions, as well as COTS minor electrical equipment for various government agencies including the ministry of defence , social housing projects and the NHS.

Martin is a keen golfer and enjoys holidays with his family.  He is also involved in running a local football team.

Gary Henderson – Financial Controller

Bio: Gary joined AMP in September 2016 as Financial Controller and is responsible for the Group finances. Gary trained as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in London and has extensive experience of high growth small and medium sized enterprises. Gary reports to the Board on AMP Procurement and its sister company AMP Power Protection.

Gary is married with four sons and can often be found on his local golf course in St Andrews or working in his garden.

Martin Shiels – Strategic Procurement Officer

Bio:  Martin joined the AMP team in January 2019 as a buyer, he quickly progressed in the business and is now our Strategic Procurement Officer. Martin is heavily involved in evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of the highest quality.

Martin is a keen footballer playing part time for Shotts Bon Accord. He is very proud of making his pro debut for Stenhousmuir in 2021 and scoring the winning goal.

Ryan McGill – Digital Marketing Manager

Bio: Ryan joined the AMP team in April 2023 as our Digital Marketing Manager for both AMP Procurement and AMP Power Protection.

Ryan graduated with a BA (Hons) in Marketing from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2017 and started work in the life science industry. He joins us with a wealth of experience across multiple marketing disciplines and industries and is responsible for social media, communications, the design and production of marketing materials, SEO, and reporting.

Outside of the office Ryan is a member of his local chess club and competes in tournaments and league matches.

Duncan Law – Assistant Management Accountant

Bio: Duncan joined AMP in August 2023 as a member of the accounts team. He assists the financial controller in the running of the accounts department, preparing management accounts and other day to day duties.
He has over 8 years’ experience in accounting and is currently working towards his professional diploma in accountancy with AAT.
In his free time, he likes to make music with his band.

Ayan Mohamed – Administrative Assistant

Bio: Ayan has been a member of the team since April 2024 and assists in administration duties across the business. She brings valuable administrative experience from her previous role in the mortgage industry, where she developed her customer service skills through client interactions. She is responsible for processing orders, liaising with customers and suppliers, and assisting the accounts team with payment processing to ensure smooth operations.

Ayan enjoys practicing calligraphy. She also enjoys cooking at home, constantly experimenting with new recipes in her spare time.

David Pollock – Warehouse & Procurement Technician

Bio: David joined AMP in January 2024 as a member of the warehousing team. He is in charge of warehousing operations, deliveries and logistics.

David’s role is critical to the operations of AMP Procurement and he has the experience to optimise the warehouse process.

In his free time, he likes to watch live football and spend time with his family.
